Spring Update

It is absolutely beautiful outside! Gorgeous! We've been taking TT for long walks in the park, and everyone is out and about.


So, the fact of the matter is that we broke a rule on our lease when we brought TT into our home. We really didn't think that we would get in trouble due to the vast amount of dogs in our building, including many other large breeds. However, we are in trouble. We're still hoping to be able to work something out so that we can buy a place where this won't be an issue, but the fact of the matter is that we might not have enough time to get this done before things get ugly. Even though we knew that this could happen, we're still shocked and saddened. Please keep us in your good thoughts while we try to work towards a solution that is best for everyone.


Also, a note of good news... WE GOT A REFERRAL!!! It's a little boy, and he's about 7 months old and absolutely adorable! That's all I'm going to say until we pass Ethiopian Court and he becomes legally ours. (For any of you that might know us on Facebook, we're purosefully not mentioning this news on there until we pass court.)


We are so excited!!! I did the happy dance for about 3 hours on the night that we got The Call. It's about 2 weeks later, and I can still feel the pulled muscle in my neck. (So worth it!)


So, if everything goes smoothly from here on out, we're looking at 4 to 6 months until we can bring him home.
