Drinking the Apple Koolaid

I've always been a bit behind when it comes to new technology.  Don't get me wrong.  I like it.  I'd even say I love it!  But I can be pretty cheap.  And I'm generally happy with whatever device I already have.

On that note, I've been sipping from the Apple Koolaid for a while now.  Noah and I got our first iPod Nanos  in 2005, and since then we've gotten iPhones and a Macbook.

I chugged the Koolaid this last weekend, though.  I got myself an iPad with a wireless keyboard, and I'm going to attempt to use this as a replacement for my old laptop.  So far, it's been pretty nice.  What makes it even better was that I also got an Apple Airport Express and finally made our house wifi.  HOORAY!  Everytime I use it, I hear the Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" in my head.  It's so awesome!

I'm still learning the ins and outs of everything with the iPad.  It can't do everything that a laptop can do, but I can always borrow Noah's Macbook for those occassions.

If you've yet to try the Apple Koolaid, I feel it necessary to caution you.  It's addictive!

While I was thinking about this blog post, my mind kept thinking about Adam and Eve and that darn apple.

  1. Oh man.... I WANT one of these! I just got an iPhone recently and I pretty much want to marry it. Sad but true. Think J would not be impressed by me wanting an iPad too :)
