Car! No, it's a SUV! It's a crossover? Well, I think of it as an SUV. We got a Nissan Rogue. We went to Carmax (of course!) and first had to list off all of our "don't even think about it" stuff. The guy looks at us and goes, "So you want either something foreign or a Nissan?" We had completely forgotten about Nissans! And even with our list of "definitely not's," we still test drove a Chevy. But first, I'll say our salesman, Kenneth, was amazingly patient, informative, nice and kind! Okay, back to the car shopping. It was Valentine's night and pretty chilly. We walked around the lot for quite some time before test driving a Honda Fit, Chevy HHR and the Nissan Rogue. The Honda Fit has really good safety reviews, and had lots of windows for great views of the road. The HHR was roomy and comfortable. In the end, however, the Nissan Rogue won. This is primarily Noah's car, and he LOVES it! I've driven it a couple of times now, and it
is really nice. Easy to speed in, but really nice. And roomy! This might be my favorite thing about it. In my Chevy Trailblazer, the Little Dude can reach his feet to the back of the front seat. And that's with the passenger in the front seat scooted up as far as
uncomfortably possible. Not so in the Rogue. We took Noah's parents to dinner tonight, and with my father-in-law
comfortably in the front seat, the Little Dude still couldn't kick the back of the seat. Nice! Also, Noah mentioned that since he's had the car for a week and a half now, he still hasn't had to refill the gas. Doubly nice!
